Terms of Use
Last updated August 29, 2026
These terms cover your use of Useful Hacks. They’re deliberately short: the Service is free, needs no account, and mostly runs on your own device. Use it sensibly and it’s yours to use.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Useful Hacks (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Useful Hacks is a free collection of online utilities. No account is required. Most tools run entirely in your browser; some features are marked “coming soon” and are not yet functional.
The Service is provided free of charge and on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend or remove tools and features at any time without notice.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to create, process or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious or that you have no right to handle.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, or bypass any technical limits (for example by scripting automated bulk requests against server-backed features).
- Use the Service to build a competing product by systematically copying its content or structure.
- Misrepresent the Service’s output as an official, certified or legally binding document.
We may restrict or block access that we reasonably believe violates these terms or harms the Service or others.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the files, text and other content you process with the Service. We claim no ownership over it.
For tools that run in your browser, your content never reaches us, so we cannot access, store or reuse it. For any feature that does send data to a server, its handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. No professional advice
The Service’s output is provided for general information and convenience only and is not professional advice.
- Finance calculators (EMI, loan, SIP, tax, interest and similar) are for planning and education. They are not financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Verify important figures with a qualified professional.
- Security tools (password generator, strength checker, hashing, redaction and similar) help with good practice but do not guarantee that any particular password, file or configuration is secure.
- Conversions and extractions may lose formatting, precision or detail. Always check the result before relying on it.
6. Intellectual property
The Useful Hacks name, design, layout, original text and code are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the Service for its intended purpose but may not copy, republish or redistribute the site’s content or code except as expressly permitted.
7. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers (such as its hosting and analytics providers) and may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites or services. Some tools use open-source libraries, each under its own licence.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Useful Hacks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service, which is zero.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Useful Hacks from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
