Why this is private
- Processed entirely in your browser. Your file is never uploaded to a server. It extracts the text only — layout, columns, tables, images and fonts are not reconstructed.
- Open your browser's DevTools → Network tab while using this tool — you won't see a request carrying your input, because it never leaves your device.
- Nothing you enter is uploaded to a server or shared with us — the processing happens entirely on your device.
Overview
Pulls the selectable text and paragraph breaks out of a PDF and writes them into a .docx you can edit in Word, Google Docs or Pages. This is a text extraction — it does not rebuild the original layout, columns, tables, images or fonts. If the PDF is a scan with no text layer, run OCR PDF first.
How to use it
- 1Drop in a text-based PDF.
- 2Wait for the text to be extracted.
- 3Download the .docx and edit it anywhere.
